Our scrunchies are handmade in the UK from deadstock (where we can) silks to crisp cottons. Chosen with care and often sewn in limited runs. Designed to hold tight without pulling, they’re gentle on your hair, light enough for fine strands, and cute enough to double as a wrist accessory.

Fit & fabric

Fit

Finished circumference is approximately 7–8 inches with stretch. Perfect to either wrap around twice or place over a secure hair tie dependant on desired style/ hair type + fitness.

Every Staise scrunchie is made with care using fabrics sourced as responsibly as possible. We try, where we can, to use deadstock and locally sourced materials, helping us reduce waste and keep things unique. Fabric composition may vary slightly between colourways, but each one is designed to be soft, secure, and gentle on your hair.

How big are they?

Our scrunchies are full, fluffy, and comfy on the wrist. Each one has a circumference of approx. 18–20cm and works for most hair types.

Will it work on short + thin hair?

Yes! Our scrunchies are very lightweight and designed to hold gently without slipping. Founder, Anastasia wears hers with a bob, so whether you're working with short layers or fine strands, they'll stay put without dragging your hair down. Perfect for mini ponies, half-ups, or just looking cute on your wrist.

Can I wash my scrunchie?

We recommend a gentle hand wash if needed, especially for delicate fabrics like velvet or satin. Let it air dry to keep its shape.

As each scrunchie is handmade, we don’t offer returns unless there’s a fault. But if there’s an issue, just get in touch and we’ll sort it.
